2010 Craft Shows Made in the USA

February 27 Berlin. The Berlin arts council is holding the 2nd art show at Clay Lamberton School. 10-4.
March 13- Whitnall. Their show features Hand made Quality items. 100+ vendors. Held at Whitnall High School, 5000 S 116th Street Greenfield. 9-3. Booth # C28
April 30, May 1 & 2 - Lake Country Basket Fest. Held at the Washington County Fair Grounds. A really great facility all in one room excellent lighting. I will be vending only Friday 3-5:30, Saturday 7-7:30 & Sunday 7-1. You can sit with me at the booth and I will show you how to do pine needle baskets. June 5- DeForest. Dragon Art Fair. Juried show of high quality arts and crafts. Come and shop from over 100 artists. Held on Market street in downtown DeForest. 9:00-4:00.
June 13- Oshkosh. Winnebagoland Art Fair, held at South Park on South Park Ave. A very nice juried art show of over 100 artists. My recycled bottles were not allowed at the show so they will not be there. You may preorder what you want and I will bring them for you. 10:00-4:00 rain or shine. Booth # C5 along Georgia street.
July 10- Delafield. 35th annual Lake Country Art Festival held at Naga-Waukee Park, north of 194 on Hwy 83. A juried show of high quality arts and crafts. Over 100 exhibitors. 9:00-4:00.
July 17- Port Washington- Fish Days craft show at the upper park in Port Washington. 10:00-6:00. Biggest one day fish fry lots of other things to do in town at the harbor. Music, car show, craft show and fire works at dusk.
August 14- Hartford. 24th American Accents. A festival of hand-crafted fine arts and crafts. This show you do not want to miss. Held at Willowbrook Park on HWY 60. 9:00-4:00. Booth # 112 in the lobby.
August 22- Greenbush, Wade House Arts and Craft Fair. Held on the beautiful grounds of the historical Wade House Site. Very nice selection of artists. Food available. Come and stroll through the park and buy some very nice works of art. 9:00-5:00.
Oct. 16- New Berlin Ronald Regan Elementary School, 4225 S Calhoun Rd. 27th Year 120 artisans offering unique handcrafted items. Concession stand. All proceeds donated back to the community. 9:00-3:00. Booth # 57 in the gym.
October 23- West Bend. Fall Fair to Remember, held at the Washington Fair grounds. Over 100 art and crafters. Perfect to start your holiday shopping or for your self. 9:00-4:00. Booth #A65.
October 30- I will be teaching the pine needle basket at East Troy Basketry. Check out their website for dates and pictures. www.easttroybasketry.com
November 6- West Allis. Nathan Hale 17th Holiday Craft Fair held at Nathan Hale High School. Admission $2.00 Get your holiday shopping done here many beautiful hand-crafted gifts to choose from. 9:00-4:00. Booth # 15 in gym.
November 13 - Hartford. 25th Annual Great Hartford Craft Exposition. Held at Union High School. I will be in the Lobby again #112. A great show of nice hand made items for gift giving or something for your self. Buy from USA. 9:00-3:00.
November 20 - Holiday Marketplace. Held at Washington County Fair Grounds. Very large show of high quality arts and crafts. All handmade items, great for your holiday shopping or a gift for yourself. 9:00-4:00.
December 4- Whitnall High School. Get those last minute gifts at this show. Large number of crafters held through out the school. Booth # 28. 9:00-3:00.
December 5- Shorewood. 31st Annual Shorewood Arts & Craft Fair. New location. They will be moving back to the Shorewood High School, 1701 E Capitol Dr. A really nice quality of hand made gifts. Do your last minute shopping here. Hours10-4.
2010 Basket Conventions & Classes If you would like me to teach the pine needle basket at your guild, call Sally for information. 262-334-0173 email golpottery@yahoo.com March 4, 5 & 6- Woven Together in Western Kentucky Basket Guild. I will be teaching 4 classes and vending. It is held at the Rough River Dam State Resort Park, 450 Lodge Rd, Falls of Rough, KY 40119. Contact info: Jo West 270-424-5044. You do not have to be a member to attend the 16th convention. You can now access WTWKY retreat information at: http://wtwky.shutterfly.com/2010retreat There are 14 instructors and 42 classes to choose from. Please note registration dates - December 1, 2009 - February 12, 2010. Our retreat committee had their work cut out for them, but put together a beautiful weekend for us to look forward to at Rough River. Thanks everyone I had a great time and enjoyed your company. Everyone made some really nice baskets. Hope to see you next year.

Sept. 30- Oct. 1&2. Valparaiso IN. Northwest Indiana Hoosier Basket Convention. It is only a 3 hour drive from Milwaukee. Nice friendly convention. Reasonable priced, early registration fee $25.00 before July 1. After that date only $40.00 registration fee. Includes meals and snacks. For my classes you will have a choice of 2 different baskets to choose from for the classes. See their website at www.nwhoosierbasketguild.com I will be vending so email with any orders 4 weeks before convention. Friday class 8:00-12 pine needle Tray or Oblong dish. Friday class 2:00-6 Octagonal bowl or Pandora's dish. Oct. 21 & 22- MI Basket convention. I will be teaching only, you may purchase after class pine needle bases and supplies. If you want any other items like handles or tie ons please order them in advance. Please pre order what you need, and you may pick them up during the convention on the 2 days I am there.
